A large focus of The Itty Bitty Yarn Co., is to provide a safe space, to build a community of makers.
Workshops are planned, for you to learn a brand new skill, or expand on your existing skills.
Projects follow a progression from a basic knit or crochet project, using larger needles and thicker weight yarns, allowing for ease of movement and a quicker sense of accomplishment. While learning by making dishclothes is common place, I prefer my students learn, by creating something they can be proud to show off.
Once the basics are mastered, move on to a bigger basic project, or one of the intermediate courses.
Already know the basics of knitting or crocheting? Lets move on to thinner yarns, smaller needles, and projects with more details.
Many projects will not be completed during a single session. You should leave with confidence and instructions to complete your piece on your own. However, if additional assistance is required, participants can either book additional one-on-one time.
Some workshops include materials, while others, that involve a personal colour preference and sizing, do not. In those cases, students are offered a 10% discount off workshop materials purchased in the shop.
Workshop Registration fees are non-refundable Where possible, participation in single session classes can be rescheduled
